Abstract:

Digital transformation deals with the paradigm change of integrating digital technology into all levels of the organisation and society fundamentally modifying the way to operate and deliver value and service to stakeholders. The talk investigate how to tackle the Digital Transformation project process through an extension of Tropos, an agent-oriented software engineering method, focusing on a way to model, manage and implement the cognitive and rationale resource of Knowledge.

Speaker Bio:

Manuel Kolp is Full Professor in Information Systems Engineering at the University of Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium. He has been also appointed invited professor in different universities (KULeuven, UNamur, UBrussels, UTrento, UAncona, …) and was previously adjunct professor at the University of Toronto (Canada). His academic records include more 250 publications in international journals and scientific conferences, five edited books, 14 supervised PhD theses and a h-index = 36. He was recently General Chair of RCIS 2019, the IEEE 13th International Conference on Research Challenges in Information Science. His main expertises relate to Information Systems Analysis and Design, Digital Transformation, Data and Software Project Management, Requirements Engineering and Agent-Oriented/Knowledge Systems. He did his PostDoc at the University of Toronto, Canada, and got his PhD degree in Information Sciences (Information Systems) from the University of Brussels in 1999
