The launch of ChatGPT in November 2022 has swept the world into a storm of large language models (LLMs). A period of more than six months is enough for everyone to experience and better understand the strengths and weaknesses of ChatGPT and the technology behind it. Now is the right time to look together at the potential uses of ChatGPT and think about how to adapt in the age of LLMs.
Recognizing the importance of foundational models such as LLMs, SoICT establishes a Research Lab on Foundation Models under BKAI Center and will hold a launch event on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023. At the launch, researchers and technical experts will share their experiences in applying these technologies to real-world problems at enterprises and have a panel discussion on opportunities and challenges in the ChatGPT era. After that, there will be a workshop on large language models presented by Foundation Models lab’s research members about the technical issues behind ChatGPT and prompt engineering skills to exploit the potential of ChatGPT most effectively.
The event will be held in the form of a hybrid that combines both in-person and online at room B1-504, Building B1, HUST. All are welcome to attend.
